The Claretian Missionaries of the Independent Delegation of St. Charles Lwanga gathered for their annual spiritual retreat in Kenya and Tanzania. The retreat, aimed at renewing faith and strengthening missionary commitment, was held simultaneously in two venues: the Subukia National Shrine in Nakuru, Kenya, and the St. Carlos Retreat Centre in Tengeru, Arusha, Tanzania.

The five-day retreat brought together Claretian missionaries serving in both countries, offering them a time of prayer, reflection, and fraternal communion. The sessions were centered on deepening their spiritual life and reinforcing their pastoral zeal in line with the charism of St. Anthony Mary Claret, their founder.
Preachers guided participants through moments of scriptural meditation, Eucharistic celebrations, and community sharing, providing a rich atmosphere for discernment and renewal. The serene environments of Subukia Shrine and Tengeru Retreat Centre offered a conducive setting for silence and prayer.

The Claretian Missionaries expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gather as a family in faith, emphasizing the importance of retreats in sustaining their mission of evangelization and service among the people of East Africa.
