St. Claret Pre and Primary School, Michungwani, Dar es Salaam, celebrated its 12th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, 15 August 2026, bringing together graduates, parents, teachers, staff, local leaders, heads of different schools and invited guests.
The ceremony began at 10:00 a.m. with a procession led by the school band, followed by the graduates, staff and guests. The celebration opened with prayers and songs, inviting God’s blessing upon the occasion.


The Chief Guest was Madam Debora George Alfani, Ward Education Officer. This year’s ceremony celebrated 59 Class Seven pupils who completed their primary education and 44 UKG pupils who are ready to join Class One.The gathering was welcomed by Sr. Veronica Kujur, FSMA, while the school report was presented by Teacher Salum, the Academic Teacher.


The programme featured colourful performances, including modern dances, a fashion show, French performances, traditional and international dances, as well as presentations by pre-primary and graduating pupils. Outstanding pupils were also recognized with various gifts and awards.In her address, Madam Debora congratulated the graduates and emphasized that the success of children depends on the collective responsibility of three key partners: parents, the school and the children themselves. She encouraged all to continue working together for the children’s future.The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates to the graduates.



At the end, Fr. Midhun, the School Administrator, thanked God, the Chief Guest, parents, teachers, staff and all guests for making the celebration successful. He then blessed the meal, and everyone shared a sumptuous meal together.The 12th Graduation Ceremony was a joyful celebration of achievement, gratitude, talent and teamwork, marking an important step in the educational journey of the children.Congratulations to all 59 Class Seven graduates and 44 UKG pupils!
