The Delegation Government through the Prefecture of Formation, was able to hold the quinquennium program for ten priests belonging incardinated to St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation and three from Fatima Province (Zimbabwe Mission).
This was a wonderful encounter from 12th to 16th of June 2025 at the Curia House in Karen, Nairobi, Kenya. The facilitator of the Program Rev. Fr. Joyze Pius Egunjobi, dwelt more on the theme of: Self-awareness in the Formation of a young priest to become a credible Priest after the Heart of Jesus. The participants were grateful to the Delegation Council for this support during this program. Three of the priests completing their five years; Denis Mukam’atuhe, Andabat Hillary and Bruno Michael in his absentia were given farewell and the continuing ones were encouraged to keep the Flames lighted up in their priestly vocation.
The Prefect of Formation, Fr Amos passed on the proposals from the ACLA meeting held in December in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The Major superior, Fr Joy thanked the participants for their availability and different apostolates that they are doing. In his address he emphasized community life and prayer. The program came to an end with a message read to the participants. It was the Message from the Superior General embedded with important fraternal exhortations among others such as: “We are not meant to be solitary heroes but brothers walking together. The synodal path—learning the art of listening, walking with others, and growing in humble fraternity—is essential for our missionary health and fruitfulness.”
