Nairobi, Kenya – 3 September 2026: The St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation of the Claretian Missionaries of East Africa has a new leadership team following the appointment of the new Delegation Council during the ongoing V General Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya. The new Delegation Council is headed by Rev. Fr. Amos Moses, CMF, as the Major Superior, together with his Councillors: Br. Robert Omondi, CMF; Rev. Fr. George Nandalath, CMF; and Rev. Fr. John Bosco Kiyuga, CMF.

The newly appointed council members, together with Rev. Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, CMF, Superior General of the Claretian Missionaries, celebrated the Holy Eucharist, during which the new Major Superior took his oath of office. The newly appointed Councillors also formally received their appointments and accepted the responsibility entrusted to them as servants of the Claretian missionary community.






The celebration was a significant moment of prayer, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to the mission. The members of the Delegation expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the new Council and entrusted their service to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As they begin their new responsibility, the members wished Fr. Amos Moses, CMF, and his Council God’s abundant blessings, wisdom, courage, and strength as they lead the Delegation in communion and missionary service.




The entire Delegation extends its fraternal greetings and prayerful best wishes to the newly appointed leadership, praying that their service may strengthen communion, deepen participation, and inspire a renewed missionary vision throughout the St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation.
