Nairobi, Kenya – 1 September 2026: The second day of the V General Assembly of the St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation of the Claretian Missionaries of East Africa was dedicated to the Discovery Stage, providing an opportunity for the members to understand, evaluate, and reflect on the current reality of the Delegation.
The day featured presentations from the Delegation Council, highlighting the achievements, experiences, challenges, and future expectations in different areas of the Delegation’s life and mission. The delegation secretary presented the delegation’s statistics and members’ details. The Major Superior presented a report on the overall situation and governance of the Delegation, while the Prefects of Apostolate shared about the various missionary activities and ministries.Reports were also presented by the Prefect of the Bible Ministry and Communication, the Prefects of Formation, covering both initial and ongoing formation, and the Prefect of Economy, who presented the current financial position, challenges, and expectations of the Delegation.
Following the presentations, the members engaged in various group discussions, where they evaluated the reports, shared their opinions, raised questions, and offered reflections on the different areas of the Delegation’s life.The second day was a fruitful and enriching experience, marked by open presentations, meaningful discussions, and collective reflection, setting a strong foundation for the continued discernment and decision-making of the Assembly.
